Jennifer Bartlett interviews Andrea Baker, Jen Benka, Adam Clay, Bruce Covey, and me in the new issue of Saint Elizabeth Street.

"All artists are suspect. All artists are outsiders, and in this sense, queer."

"The idea that men are better than women is still pervasive--not just out there, but in here."

"Should poets work manual labor jobs and write poems at night in a windowless room?"

"Some of the pieces had incredibly strict structural guidelines--for instance, for 'beauty,' I googled the names of People Magazine's 50 most beautiful people and chose one designated word per site."

"Feeling that I had found my people, I immediately stopped using hairspray, bought black clothes, became a vegetarian, and took up writing."

Who said what? Find out here.

O Canada!

rob mclennan reviewed case sensitive at his blog yesterday. I'm really excited about reading in The Factory Series that rob curates in Ottawa and in Mark Trucott's Test Series in Toronto when I visit Ontario in May for the very first time.
