Lindsay Houts is a niece of our buddy Maurice. She is also a bicyclist who wants to help support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation--so she has registered as Rider 4123 and is gathering donations in order to participate in this year's AIDS/LifeCycle.
For seven days, June 3-9, 2007, cyclists and volunteers will travel 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles. To be among those who'll make the journey, each rider has to collect a minimum of $2,500 in tax deductible contributions. The money goes to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. Beyond fundraising, LifeCycle increases awareness about HIV/AIDS as the rate of infection continues to increase.
